Aaron Kendle - CEO
Aaron served 16 years as a Navy SEAL on both the east and west coasts at SEAL Team 7, Naval Special Warfare Development Group and Naval Special Warfare Group 1. He deployed throughout the Middle East, Asia and Africa, he finished his time in service as the Chief Petty Officer in charge of all high-risk, military free-fall training for the West coast SEAL teams. In 2016, he took over as CEO of the SEAL Future Foundation, a non-profit that assists SEALs in their transition into civilian life. In 2017, he was accepted into Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development. Aaron was severely injured in an accident and lost his left arm below the elbow. After finishing the program and medically retiring from the Navy, he found his next purpose in using the fundamentals learned from the SEAL teams and HBS to enhance companies’ culture, leadership and team cohesion. Aaron now brings that same leadership and focus as CEO of Caltex Energy International.
Michael Paul - VP of Commercial Ops
Michael brings over 33 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience to the table. He is a graduate from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Co. with a degree in Mathematics. Michael has worked in almost all facets of the industry from the field to the control room. Over the last 20 years in the commercial organization space, he has held a multitude of roles in analysis, scheduling, trading, and marketing. Michael’s experience spans across different commodities within the commercial space to include natural gas liquids, clean products, sulfur, and crude. His experience also includes all modes of transportation from truck, pipeline, and rail, to barges and vessels. Michael is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who also received several certifications and awards while working at Mapco, Conoco, Conoco Phillips and Phillips 66. He is currently a member of the TASO (Texas Association of Sporting Officials) as a High School football official and works for the Houston Texans on their Gameday Chain Crew.
